Objective: Design a video by creating slides in PowerPoint, saving them as JPEGs, importing them into Photo Story 3 where voice narration, transitions, motion, and music can be added.
Getting Started with PowerPoint - Using the Photo Album Feature
1 - Open PowerPoint
2 - Create a New Photo Album OR Start from scratch with slides and clipart and skip to #7.
3 - Insert Pictures
4 - Locate desired pictures
5 - Click Insert when all pictures have been chosen
6 - Manipulate Pictures in window before clicking Create
6 - At this point click Create... NOTE: After this point you cannot "add" pictures to this same photo album. To add more pictures you must create another photo album, then after creating the new one, copy and paste the new slides into the original photo album.
7 - At this point utilize PowerPoint's clipart, etc. to add flavor to your slides. This is also where you would create a PowerPoint to tell your story without utilizing the Photo Album feature which means you would insert your pictures individually onto slides.
There is no reason to add any animations because you will be saving your slides as JPEGs which are still pictures.
